Our customer located in Glastonbury, CT is looking for an Engineering Systems Programmer to contribute to design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the pre- and post-process functionality for fluid dynamics tools. The objective is to automate processes for turbine/compressor applications for speed, accuracy and reliability improvements on the analysis of engine design.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Design, implement, test, and deploy the pre- and post-process functionality
  • Automate processes for turbine/compressor applications for speed, accuracy and reliability improvements on the analysis of engine design.
 
Skills required:
  • Software development lifecycle
  • Skillful in the implementation of engineering applications on both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms
  • Fortran / MATLAB
  • Script programming in Perl and/or Python
 
Desired Skills:
 
  • Knowledge and experiences in aerodynamic analysis design, such as:
    • CFD solvers
    • Structured/unstructured grids
    • pre/post processing utilities
    • parallel computing
    • MPI (Message Passing Interface) implementation
