Our customer located in Glastonbury, CT is looking for an Access Developer who can execute flexible reporting, create ad hoc queries, and address user functionality in engineering web applications.  This role requires reporting done through an Access Database interface with multiple input sources and includes user selectable queries and forms.  The system supports critical customer business requirements through aggregation of data presented in reports generated in both MS-Word and MS-Excel.       
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Execute ad hoc queries to support business reporting needs from data existing in Access Reporting Database and Application Oracle Tables
  • Provide updates to weekly data uploads and minor functionality changes to support accurate data displayed in reports
  • Provide new database revision releases to users when revisions to reports are made
  • Support users who access these tools through the remote desktop connection environment
 
Skills required:
  • Strong MS Access skills
  • Strong MS-Word skills
  • Strong MS-Excel skills
  • Ability to work with multiple Windows operating systems and MS-Access versions
